Renew your relationship with Jesus!

Holy Spirit Catholic Church hosted a series of mini-retreats during 2018. During each mini-retreat, we heard how God has impacted the lives of many in our parish and diocese, and we experienced God’s presence through music, prayer, and a variety of spiritual experiences. If you missed this opportunity, you may access the retreat videos below. We encourage you to read Fr. Rudi’s letter to the Holy Spirit Community about Evangelization .

Following is a collection of daily readings and meditations to go along with the retreats.

We have two areas where you can input your thoughts. First, you may leave a comment about the mini-retreats at the bottom of this page. Second, we have an area where you can privately submit your personal experiences with God, please click the links below. Our hope is that many of our parishioners who wouldn’t be comfortable sharing their story in a talk or class might find comfort in sharing their story through the written word. Your story will be seen only by a few select people and if our Priest or Deacons want the world to see your story we will ask your permission to publish it here or in our bulletin.

Let us help you discover how Jesus is working in your life!

Do you have a story to share?

  1. I am deeply and tremendously inspired by Kathryn’s talk last Sunday July 8th 2018

I remembered the story of the accident and the location and I assumes her mother passed away and went to Heaven

    Thanks ever so much Kathryn

  2. I could totally relate to Charles talk last weekend. My experience in searching for something more, led me to studying, a week long silent retreat and God leading me in a new direction. The talk was really touching and I especially loved the contemplation.

  3. It is encouraging to hear the inspirational speakers share their story during our mini-retreats after our weekend Masses this month. Thank you Eben Emerson, Charles Giles, Kathryn Loskill, Marla Cottenoir, Rob Hogan, Stacy Saultz, Deacon Daniel, and Kelly Shehan. Your stories seem to promote some insight into our own Christian journeys. May we continue to strive to open our hearts to hear God’s call to guide us in our daily lives.

  4. Today’s reflection was totally awesome. Jennifer was so open about her life and the gaps we all go through on our journey in faith. Not only was she a great speaker but a true Evangelist! Thank you for your gift to us this weekend.

  5. It was nice to mix things up for the summer-a time when the church can seem slow and empty of the usual people and classes. I enjoyed all the talks and I pray for those who felt they couldn’t stay. Thank you to the people who shared their hearts. Thanks most of all to our loving shepherd Fr.Rudi who works so very hard to provide us with opportunities to be saints.
