Time * Talent * Treasure
We are facing exciting, challenging times in the Third Millennium of Christianity. Saint John Paul the II called it “a new springtime of Christianity”. It is a time for Catholics to serve each other and humankind in justice, charity and love. Stewardship as a way of life, is one means by which we can accomplish what the Holy Father has asked us to do.
Stewardship is based the principles of the old testament and teachings of Jesus. In the Gospel of John (8:31) Jesus said: “If you live according to my teachings, you are truly my disciples.” As Christian stewards or disciples, we have the responsibility to share our gifts in justice and love, not only with each other, but with our church, our neighborhoods and communities.
