Gracious and loving God, help the men and women of our parish to hear the call to serve in the Diocese of Lubbock. Our needs are great, and our people thirst for your presence. Open the hearts of many, raise up faithful servants of the Gospel, dedicated, holy priests, sisters, brothers and deacons, who will spend themselves for your people and their needs. Bless those who are serving now with courage and perseverance. Grant that many will be inspired by their example and faith. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Memorare to St. Joseph Remember, O most chaste spouse of the Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who implored your help and sought your intercession were left unassisted. Full of confidence in your power I fly unto you and beg your protection. Despise not O Guardian of the Redeemer my humble supplication, but in your bounty, hear and answer me. Amen.

Anima Christi

Soul of Christ, santify me.
Body of Christ, save me.
Blood of Christ, inebriate me.
Water from the side of Christ, wash me.
Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
O good Jesus, hear me.
Within your wounds, hide me.
Never let me be separated from you.
From the malignant enemy, defend me.
At the hour of death, call me; and bid me come to you.
That with your saints I may praise you
forever and ever.

Psalm 91 – God is My Refuge

The one who lives in the shelter of the Most High, who rests in the shadow of the Almighty, will say to the Lord, “You are my refuge, my fortress, and my God in whom I trust!” He will surely deliver you from the hunter’s snareand from the destructive plague. With his feathers he will cover you; under his wings you will find safety. His truth is your shield and armor. You need not fear terror that stalks in the night, the arrow that flies in the day, plague that strikes in the darknessor calamity that destroys at noon. If a thousand fall at your sideor ten thousand at your right hand, it will not overcome you.

Only observe it with your eyes, and you will see how the wicked are paid back. “Lord, you are my refuge!” Because you chose the Most High as your dwelling place, no evil will fall upon you, and no affliction will approach your tent, for he will command his angels to protect you in all your ways. With their hands they will lift you up so you will not trip over a stone. You will stomp on lions and snakes; you will trample young lions and serpents.

Because he has focused his love on me, I will deliver him. I will protect him because he knows my name. When he calls out to me, I will answer him. I will be with him in his distress. I will deliver him, and I will honor him. I will satisfy him with long life; I will show him my deliverance. Amen.

Keep all safe from the corona virus Our Lady Health of the sick. Pray for a vaccination for covid 19. Amen.

“Good morning Sweet Jesus my Savior. Good morning Sweet Mary my Mother. I give you my heart and soul this day to keep for ever and ever. Amen.”

Prayer of Saint Francis
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace
Where there is hatred, let me sow love
Where there is injury, pardon
Where there is doubt, faith
Where there is despair, hope
Where there is darkness, light
And where there is sadness, joy
O Divine Master, grant that I may
Not so much seek to be consoled as to console
To be understood, as to understand
To be loved, as to love
For it is in giving that we receive
And it’s in pardoning that we are pardoned
And it’s in dying that we are born to Eternal Life
Amen
