Attention Women of Holy Spirit Parish!
Are you new to Holy Spirit or perhaps just want to get more involved in parish life and meet new people? The Holy Spirit Women’s Organization is a dynamic group of women (all age groups) that meet on the 3rd Monday of the month (except June-August) for sisterhood, fun, food and spiritual growth and support.
Join us Monday, April 21st
Our parishioner, Michelle Coury of Rough2Rustic, will be our speaker. She will share about her handmade Catholic Home Décor and Gifts. Bring your favorite salad for a Spring potluck dinner.
More than a potluck dinner (but we do love those!), the Women’s Organization fund raises for parish student scholarships and the meetings offer a variety of social activities from topical speakers, to craft nights. As a Catholic women’s group, we also explore and discuss
an array of spiritual topics. Women’s voices are integral for the growth of a vibrant and benevolent Church community.
At our St. Patrick’s Day meeting, Tiffany See delivered a presentation on the Unexpected Journey of St. Patrick. Special emphasis was on the virtuous life he lived amongst the pagan communities during his multiple missionary treks across Ireland. We were all encouraged learning more about his obedience, faithfulness, humility, prayer, and fortitude throughout his life. More importantly, his example of ‘yes’ to God’s call to evangelize.
