Adult Faith classes will begin the week of September 19th unless otherwise noted. All are welcome and you do not need to pre-register. Your presence will be appreciated.

Sunday Classes

The Sacrificial System

Facilitated by Eben Emerson. Class meets at 9:15 AM in Room 126.

Have you ever wondered why the worship of Gods people in the Old Testament looks so different from the worship of Gods people in the church today? Or what the Old Testament sacrifices of bulls and goats have to do with Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. In this class we will study the Old Testament sacrifices prefigure the ultimate and perfect sacrifice of Christ. The goals of this study are to grow in our appreciation of the concept of sacrifice to develop a solid framework for more fully understanding the events of the cross and to make Biblical texts that may have previously seen out of touch more solid and practical.
 
Consecration to St. Joseph

Facilitated by Jeannie Burrows. and Linda Hageman Join them for discussions on St. Joseph’s earthly life as father, husband, the Churches, saints and popes teachings about him.  It is a great opportunity to celebrate the Year of St. Joseph.

• Linda’s class meets on Saturday at 6:30 pm in Driscoll Conference Room.

  Choice Wine: 7 Steps to and Abundant Marriage

Facilitated by John and Leslie Arcisz and Bonnie and Charles Chavez

Choice Wine meets Sunday evenings from 6:45 – 8:30 in Room 223 Join other couples for a 9 week intensive course focusing on 7 steps to a superabundant marriage.
 
Monday Class: Begins September 13th

RCIA

Instructor: Juno Bishop and “her team”

RCIA is for adults 18 and older who would like to become Catholic or have not received all their Sacraments. RCIA will begin Monday, September 13th and meets from 7—9 PM in McGivney Hall.
 
Wednesday Classes: (Begins September 22nd)

Women’s Bible Study 

Facilitated by Veronica Solis

Meets Wednesdays at 9:30 AM  In Driscoll Conference Room. This class has been active for more than 10 years. Each session begins by praying the Rosary followed by Bible studies and fellowship. Please wear a mask for the safety of all participants.
 
Spiritual Warfare:

Facilitated by Michele Lewis   Class meets from 6—7 PM in Room 118

The class will discuss what the Catholic church and their priests teach concerning exorcisms.
 
Catholic 101

Facilitated by Tom Lewis    Class meets 6—7 PM in room 220

Overview of the fundamental teachings of our faith. We will be following the outline of the Catholic Catechism, making it relevant to current issues and addressing common questions and confusions.
 
Young Adults Class group at  7:30 PM in Room 118 

Open to all from 20 to 35ish, the Young Adults have in depth Bible studies, explore diverse topics and are very involved in seeking volunteer opportunities such as serving the Homeless.
 
Thursday Classes

Catholic Mosaic  – Begins September 9th

Would you like to attend a class that doesn’t cover a book of the Bible in detail, but gives you an understanding of the message? Individual classes covering the Bible and Catholic beliefs are presented. If you miss a class you won’t be behind! You have two options:

DAYTIME Catholic Mosaic meets at 9:00 AM in the Driscoll Center Conference Room. Mothers with small children are welcome—encouraged — to attend. EVENING Catholic Mosaic meets at 6:45 PM in the  Driscoll Conference Room.
