Why Choose Holy Spirit Catholic School

Holy Spirit Parish has been blessed with the opportunity to begin a Catholic school with the 2017-2018 school year.  The school will be a wonderful addition to the Diocese of Lubbock Catholic School System and to Holy Spirit Parish.

Holy Spirit Catholic School’s mission is to foster Catholic faith formation and promote academic excellence in every student encompassing their spiritual, academic, physical and emotional development.

In line with our mission, we will:

  • Develop a spiritual life for the students through the celebration of liturgical prayer and the sacraments
  • Foster an awareness of our responsibilities of self and to the society in which we live
  • Provide the best possible education for students in a Christian Catholic environment
  • “Teach as Jesus did” as the Church encourages us to do

The Catholic Schools of Texas follow the regulations set by the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department (TCCED) and Accreditation Commission.  The school will open with Early Childhood Pre-Kindergarten 4 and Kindergarten.   Pre-K students must be 4 years old by September 1 and Kindergarten students must be 5 years old by September 1 to meet TCCED requirements.   The school will then add a grade each year.

Registration forms and enrollment instructions may be found on parish website under SCHOOL link.
