Marian  Classes added to Adult Faith Formation

Marian Apparitions has been added to our Adult Formation Classes this Fall. If you would like a deeper understanding of the approved miracles and messages of Mary, please plan to attend one, or as many as your schedule allows. The class will meet on Wednesday evenings, beginning September 13th from 6–7:00 in McGivney Hall. The Blessed Virgin Mary is a central figure in God’s plan of salvation. Our Lady has appeared many times through the centuries. Early apparitions occurred, mostly to one person or a small group. However, beginning in the 16th century there have been a few great apparitions with signs and wonders witnessed by many people and messages intended for the whole world. This course will examine Mary’s mission, the essential elements of seven Marian Apparitions as they relate to historical facts of those apparitions, and a review of certain questions and objections that have been raised concerning them. The classes are facilitated by Marla Cottenoir and Dr. David Marzak.

Marian Focus will begin this Fall’s Faith Alive class, which meets each Sunday mornings at 9:15. The first four weeks of the class will be dedicated to our Blessed Virgin Mary.  Presentations include: Mary, Mother of God; Ark of the Covenant; The New Eve; The Immaculate; the Mother of the Church and more. Early Fathers of the Church will be the focus of class meetings in mid-October. The classes are facilitated by David and Chase Powell.

Child care will be available during these classes.
