Advent Retreat– Saturday, December 16, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Saint Mary Magdalen Parish, 309 South Wall Street, Floydada. The retreat speakers are Father Rudi Crasta, David Powell, and Jeremy Trull. Grief Share-Surviving the Holidays – These sessions are held the first three Sundays of Advent, December 3, 10 & 17, 1:30-3 p.m. in the Family Life Conference room at the Catholic Renewal Center (4620 4th Street, Lubbock). Individuals and families with children are welcome to attend 1 or all 3 of our sessions. Rediscover Catholicism—a Spiritual Guide to Living with Passion and Purpose. This six-part series will meet on the third Wednesday of the month through January 17, 2018. Meet time is 6–7 pm in Kasteel Hall, Christ the King Cathedral. The book is provided free along with a study guide. Each month will include a guest speaker and breakout sessions.
